DSQ Alert™ real-time PCR optimization

The DSQ Alert HT reagents is compatible with the open utility channel of high throughput real-time PCR platforms. DSQ Alert HT RUO products are ready-to-use mixtures of primers and probes specific to pathogen targets. Probes are labeled with FAM or our proprietary AquaPhluor^® (AP) fluorophore and a DSQ. Primers are chemically modified to improve specificity of nucleic acid amplification. DSQ Alert HT reagents are configured to be added directly to utility channel reagent kits and are formulated to work optimally with the master mix and the internal control used with the open utility channel.

DSQ Alert products are designed with ELITechGroup MDx’s proprietary DSQ hydrolysis probe chemistry, the next evolutionary step in our real-time PCR chemistry innovations. DSQ probes are labeled with fluorophores and a duplex stabilizing quencher (DSQ) that serves as a combined fluorescence quencher and DNA double helix stabilizer.

Our DSQ Alert reagents feature our newest proprietary duplex stabilizing quencher chemistry in hydrolysis probes, offering enhanced signal-to-noise fluorescence and DNA duplex stability. All test reagents may be used on ELITechGroup MDx proprietary instrument systems and on most open channel platforms.
